Glasgwm is a Victorian townhouse run by John Spicer and Heather Petrie, located close to the centre of the historic town of Llangollen. Just a short walk from all of the town's many attractions, Glasgwm offers plenty of off-road parking at the front of the property. The four en-suite bedrooms have views, either across the beautiful valley at the front of the property, or into a quiet, terraced garden at the back.

The guest lounge has a wealth of reading materials and board games, and although free wi-fi is available both here and in the hallway, guests should be advised that we pride ourselves on our hospitality, rather than wi-fi. Our home is centrally heated throughout, but in the cold weather open fires are also lit in the guest lounge. Breakfast is served in an adjoining dining area. John and Heather are happy to provide guests with packed lunches and evening meals by prior arrangement. As ex-restaurateurs, they have a reputation for using high-quality, locally sourced, seasonal produce.

Two course evening meals are around £14 per head, three courses plus coffee around £20 per head. Packed lunches are £5.50.

Glasgwm is ideal for those wishing to explore the wider attractions of North Wales, and also the border counties of Cheshire and Shropshire (Chester is only 30 minutes drive and Shrewsbury 40 minutes drive away).

Close to the Offa's Dyke path, Glasgwm caters for a number of walkers each year. Drop-offs and pick-ups to and from the Path can be arranged, and luggage transferred to the next stage of the Path.
